Skiing paradise
Voss ski resort is truly a skier's paradise. With 24 ski slopes and 11 ski lifts with a total capacity of 12 000 people an hour, there is room for everyone! The slopes are varying in difficulty and there are three designated kids' areas, ensuring that everyone will find a slope for their skill level and experience. If you are a beginner or in need of some brushing up on your skiing skills, the ski school offers lessons divided into four levels. If you've forgotten any equipment, we've got you covered! At the heart of Fjord Norway, Voss offers activities for everyone year-round. There are many excellent hiking trails for all levels. If you want to explore the fjords you can reach the Hardangerfjord and the Sognefjord in less than an hour drive. If you are looking for more extreme activities, there is both rafting and paragliding possibilities.

Skiing in the heart of Fjord Norway
Voss is a skiing paradise for all levels of experience. 24 ski slopes, a terrain park with different levels and 18 kilometres of groomed cross-country trails is just the beginning. With over 10 kilometres of floodlit slopes, including the terrain park, the paradise is a day and night experience!
With 11 ski lifts including the gondola there is continous rotation of people, creating a spacious experience for all guests. With the Voss Resort ski school you can begin your skiing experience from scratch at Voss, or brush up on your skills for the more advanced slopes. This skiing paradise offers something for everyone.

A multitude of activities
A perfect base for exploring both the mountains and the fjords. At the heart of Fjord Norway, Voss offers activities for everyone year-round. There are many excellent hiking trails for all levels. The area at Hanguren is an easy and accessible hiking area for all levels and ages. From Hanguren, you can access The Red Cross Cabin Raugstad, mount Lønahorgi or Bavallen. You can also walk down to Mølstertunet or Voss town centre from here. Mount Lønahorgi is a popular destination for hiking, with its starting point at Voss Resort. At the top you can see four glaciers!
If you want to explore the fjords you can reach the Hardangerfjord and the Sognefjord in less than an hour drive. If you are looking for more extreme activities, there is both rafting and paragliding possibilities. The choice is yours!
Gondola
Travel Green
Travel green with train or gondola and enjoy the simplicity of a car-free holiday. With nine cabins that rooms 34 people each the gondola is a great and green travel option from Voss station and to the ski resort. The Gondola takes you from the resort to the top of Haugartoppen in less than nine minutes.
At the top you'll find the biggest restaurant and after ski in Voss, Haugartoppen Restaurant, which seats 450 people over two floors. Here you can taste local delicacies and enjoy the breath-taking views of the mountains.

Getting there
Voss Resort is located only 5 km from Voss town centre, in the the heart of Fjord Norway and just 1,5 hours away from Bergen. You can easily travel to Voss by train, bus and car from both Oslo and Bergen, two cities with direct flights from most major international cities.
Airport
Bergen Airport, Flesland, is the nearest airport, located only 1,5 hours from Voss Resort. Oslo Airport is located 400 km from Voss and the drive is approximately six hours.
Train
The train ride from Bergen and the Flesland Airport is just over one hour. From Oslo you can take the direct train from the central station to Voss in five and a half hours.
From the train station, you can travel green by riding the gondola straight to the mountain and ski resort, in less than nine minutes. You can also enter our ski resort from Bavallen, 10 minutes from the train station by car.
By car
The drive from Bergen to Voss is 100 km and takes approximately one hour and 30 minutes. From Oslo to Voss there is 400 km, resulting in approximately six hours driving time.
If you enter the ski resort via Bavallen, you can park your car for free at our parking lot. Further, if you rent a cabin with us, a parking lot is connected to your cabin. If you are travelling by car to the gondola, you can use one of the 1300 parking spots in Voss town centre. Here, you will find both short and long-term parking areas, inside and outside.
By bus
There are several regional and express coach services to and from Voss. Please check Norway Bussekspress for express coach services and Vy or Skyss for local and regional buses.
